As a market test, this massive project involved multiple design disciplines. Brand Design, In-Store Experience and CustomerJourney, and the renovation of the Gap Kids top their location in Union Square San Francisco would take place over the corse of a two year calendar.
As Art Director of Gap Kids and BabyGap, I led a team of two designers and one production artist in this endeavor.
We collaborated with Brand Strategy, Architecture and Visual Merchandising teams to complete this massive undertaking.
In partnership with the Brand Strategy Team, I helped establish a new voice for the brand through which would communicated future seasons of brand experience.
I set Art Direction and led both my team and cross-functional teams in the design and production for all store creative collateral including environmental graphics, way-finding signage, props, and pictures both seasonal and permanent.
In collaboration with the Architecture Team, I set the CMF pallets that informed the renovation, e.g. furniture, fixtures, walls, and building materials.
It was all hands on deck for one year as we completed the renovation. My team and I installed super graphics, signage, painted walls, installed props, and staged window displays to ensure a timely launch party.
