PROJECT:

The Head of Product Design at IB hired me to create a new style for on their product illustration. 

I was inspired by the work of Patrick Nagel for his economy of lines and implied volume. 

Human models were used as a standard for healthy weight and proportion however the approval process found legs and arms getting longer and longer as we worked though (they are still fashion illustrations 

An important aspect of this project was imparting drawing skills to the IB design staff. IB had just moved to Portland with the goal of attracting talent from Nike, Adidas and other local brands, but to recruit, you also must be recruited.
