COMPONENT WEAVE FROM AVERY DENNISON

During my six year tenure as Innovation Manager of Engineered Materials at AD I amassed a lot of domain knowledge of this complex fabrication and it's production parameters. The guide began as my personal field notes. It was one place to log everything I was learning in a live document I could update from anywhere, adding reference photos and linking testing data. 

I was instantly compelled to share the knowledge, and an unofficial version began circulating internally around the company. I wanted the information to be accessible; less technically intimidating and as inspiring as I found it, so I began laying it out like a inspiration deck. The guide received it's first polished redesign years later in order to serve as both a training deck for internal sales and production teams and a customer facing users guide for Footwear Designers and Developers creating products with the materials.
