When the lead footwear designer left the company, I stepped in to carry the Ultra's re-design over the finish line in addition to material design and development.

Finally hitting a stride in the fourth round of designs

Artwork placement was everything for this one-piece upper design.  With multiple pattern updates, and even a whole new tool, we went through more than a few artwork versions. 

This was possibly THE most fun I ever had coloring a shoe and perfecting colorways. Many thanks to my production team in Italy who stayed up late every night for two weeks turning revisions!
